The non-profit book
"The 100 Years of Women: Motorsport & Monaco"

At MyCrown Estates, we are proud to support “100 Years of Women: Motorsport and Monaco”, a historic tribute celebrating the extraordinary legacy of women in motorsport and their deep connection with the Principality.

The history of motorsport in Monaco began in 1911 with the Monte-Carlo Rally, inaugurated by Prince Albert I. In 1929, the famous Monaco Grand Prix was born, but it was not added to the Formula 1 calendar until 1950. Yet, long before F1, women had already made their mark by winning the Coupe des Dames and the Concours d’Élégance as early as the 1920s.

This remarkable hardbound work presents 65 inspiring stories of women, written by women. With a foreword by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and an opening address by World Rally vice-champion Michèle Mouton, the book also includes an introduction by Deborah Mayer, founder of Iron Dames. From rally icons to rising F1 stars, it features legendary names such as Michèle Mouton, Ella Häkkinen, Susie Wolff, and Sonia Irvine.

The Spotlight Monaco chapter offers an exclusive look at the often-overlooked women who drive this sport forward behind the scenes, from race directors and engineers to journalists and founders of women-only motorsport events, all closely connected to Monaco. This Made in Monaco publication is produced by the Principality’s first 100% female publishing house, and part of the proceeds is donated to the next generation of women in motorsport. At MyCrown Estates, we believe in celebrating heritage, breaking down barriers, and championing progress, on and off the track.

Frankie's Children

Founded in 1997, the association Les Enfants de Frankie is dedicated to improving the well-being of children aged 0 to 17 who are ill, disabled, or in vulnerable situations in Monaco and France. The association’s primary mission is to bring joy, personal fulfilment, and satisfaction to children facing difficult living conditions.

The association operates under the honorary presidency of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, an honour officially granted on 10 November 2023, highlighting the importance, credibility, and lasting impact of its work. Les Enfants de Frankie has grown in Monaco thanks to the unwavering commitment of Mrs Francien Giraudi, founding president and volunteer, as well as the continued support of the princely family.

Since its creation, more than 160,000 children have benefited from the activities and projects funded by the association. Every month, children take part in outings and creative workshops organised in Monaco and throughout the PACA region, offering them moments of connection, imagination, and happiness beyond their daily difficulties.

Les Enfants de Frankie has also held consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) since 2008 and works closely with more than 215 partner organisations, including hospitals, medical and social institutions, and child protection services.

Among its most emblematic initiatives is the “Frankie Christmas”, a specially created show that welcomes thousands of children each year. Featuring Frankie, the much-loved mascot clown, the event ends with the distribution of Christmas gifts and sweets to every child. This unforgettable celebration brings hope to seriously ill children and allows the most disadvantaged to experience the magic of Christmas.
Throughout the year, the association also organises visits to hospitals, bringing laughter, games, and comfort to bedridden children across the region, notably at the Princess Grace Hospital of Monaco, Archet II, Sainte-Marie, the Lenval Foundation, Juan-les-Pins Hospital, and Cannes Hospital.

We are honoured to support Les Enfants de Frankie and to stand alongside an organisation that brings hope, dignity, and happiness to children who need it most.
